The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Anġlu Farrugia, together with the Ombudsman and the Auditor General, visited the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) in Paola as part of Freshers’ Week activities.
The visit aimed to encourage direct dialogue with students and further strengthen the relationship between parliamentary institutions and young people.
During the visit, the Speaker, the Ombudsman, and the Auditor General stopped by the joint stand representing their offices, where students had the opportunity to meet their representatives and learn more about the vital role these institutions play in promoting good governance, transparency, and public accountability.
They also visited several NGOs present on campus, commending their voluntary work, which contributes significantly to society and strengthens civic participation in Malta.
