Public Works completes 77 projects across 21 sports associations
77 Public Works projects strengthen Malta’s sports facilities
The Public Works Department completed 77 projects benefiting 21 sports associations within a year, with a total investment exceeding €250,000. Parliamentary Secretary for Public Works Omar Farrugia visited the Lija Athletics F.C. Nursery, where maintenance works improved safety for around 200 young athletes.
The initiative forms part of the Government’s ongoing investment in voluntary and sports organisations to strengthen community facilities across Malta and Gozo.
